Your data

Privacy

The short version: Landfall is a public dashboard you can read without signing in, and it’s built to collect as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies.

What we don’t collect

You don’t create an account or log in, so we don’t hold a profile on you. We don’t place advertising or third-party tracking cookies, we don’t sell or share personal information, and we don’t build a marketing profile of your visit.

What is collected

Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as your IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. If we use analytics, it is a privacy-preserving, cookieless measure of aggregate traffic — page views and rough trends — that isn’t tied to your identity and isn’t used to track you across other sites.

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. We use them only to read and reply to your message and to improve the tool — we don’t add you to any list, and we don’t sell or share them. The form is protected from spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly “are you human?” check that doesn’t track you across sites.

Hosting and third parties

The site is served through Cloudflare, and it pulls live data from the public sources listed on the sources page. Those data requests are made by our servers, not your browser, so visiting Landfall doesn’t expose you to those providers. Outbound news links take you to third-party publishers, who have their own privacy practices.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here. Questions about privacy are welcome at the contact page. This page describes our practices in plain language and is not legal advice.
